In 2008, Sweet Republic opened its doors in Scottsdale, Arizona. The artisan ice-cream parlor was founded by Jan Wichayanuparp and Helen Yung, two former investment bankers who decided to follow their dreams.
Sweet Republic makes their frozen treats from scratch, using fresh, natural ingredients from as many local vendors as possible. Some gourmet flavors include Salted Butter Caramel, Earl Grey Tea, Cheese Course Duo, Basil Lime Sorbet. All are served in biodegradable packaging.
