A mission-based green cafe at the Autry Museum

A key visitor experience element at your museum is your cafe. And one thing visitors notice at museums is whether or not you have made an environmental commitment, and are truly operating as a green business. I saw an excellent example of this at the Autry National Center in Los Angeles.
This sign lets you know about their commitment to recycling and composting.
Flatware is 100% compostable. I also liked the metal buckets, which themed in nicely with their Western heritage theme.
All the waste from those tiny packets of condiments... gone! Nice job.
I loved this, as it helped people understand what really can be composted.
